Critique Dan Senor's Wedding Suit

Wish there was a bigger picture, but here you go. I think, personally, they look very good together, but both clothing selections leave a bit to be desired.

I think it's a white shirt he's wearing. I think she looks beautiful. I've always had a bit of a thing for Campbell Brown.

He's not terrible looking. He is successful which counts more than pure looks. He's dressed safely - conservatively - but together they look splendid. Better than trying too hard and creating a picture set painful to look back at in the future.

Colourful shirt and tie would look perfectly proper for a wedding...with morning dress (vide Charles and Camilla).

That said, short of morning dress, which is uncommon in the US, lounge suit is appropriate during the day, black tie is not, I would venture.

As for the elements, the shirt and tie match nicely, but he really needs a longer knot and probably a wider tie to balance out both the spread collar and the low break.

Finally, his boutonniere sits very high...and, no pocket square!

He should be showing a bit more cuff.

Also, the suit jacket is slipping off on one side, possibly because it's too large in the chest.

The tie is a nice color on him.

The smarter and/or more educated a woman is, the less importance she places on good looks in a mate. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

The one rule for the groom is not to upstage the bride. I think Mr. Senor has accomplished this task.
