Crepe Wool - thoughts?

I am a relatively impoverished newbie to the style world. I have picked up a few great suits on ebay - a very nice oxxford and a couple of canali's. Before reading this forum, I got a dark brown, crepe wool Armani for $150.00. I suppose the price is irrelevant, though, my real question is how crepe wool is perceived. It is very...crepe-ish - meaning almost too transparent. I live in Florida, however, so this is somewhat of a positive. I have never seen any crepe wool suits before and I suspect it will deteriorate pretty rapidly. Any thoughts?

crepe sounds good for hotter climes.

Crepe wool comes and goes in fashion but is always a great fabric for hot and humid.

Crepe wool is great for the summer (or anytime in Florida, really).

If you are looking for hot and humid friendly suiting, I also recommend a mohair-wool blend. I have a zegna jacket I got years and years ago that remains one of my favorites...it's only 1/4 lined and of a very thin and breezy (and durable) mohair-wool fabric.
