My father in law just passed away. We had our differences but he was a wonderful grandfather that spent a lot of time with my 2 young daughters. My 9 year old is just devestated...I mentioned that perhaps we could have a bit of his ashes put into a ring or pendant and she really picked up on the idea....I've found a few places online & of course everything is done by post. So....has anyone used a service like this? Any particular recommendations or advice out there?

Thank you in advance

I know this is an old post but I thought maybe it would help anyone who might come across this. I had my our baby (pet dog) cremated after she passed away and did not know what to do with the ashes after I did it. My wife and I decided to get matching pendants with ashes of our baby set in them, they were made by a really nice lady in the US. The hardest part for me was scattering the rest of them in the ocean. The pendant does help with the closure, it's hard even now but having a little piece of her with me helps get me through the hard times. the shop is Sugarberry Memorials her site is https://www.sugarberrymemorials.com if anyone wants to see her work, its absolutely stunning. I'm in the UK so the wait was about two months with shipping but everything was amazing and we love the pieces.

I had a friend of mine also make his father's ashes into a glass ornament, which is also stunning, I don't know where he purchased his.
