My father in law just passed away. We had our differences but he was a wonderful grandfather that spent a lot of time with my 2 young daughters. My 9 year old is just devestated...I mentioned that perhaps we could have a bit of his ashes put into a ring or pendant and she really picked up on the idea....I've found a few places online & of course everything is done by post. So....has anyone used a service like this? Any particular recommendations or advice out there?

I know this is an old post but I thought maybe it would help anyone who might come across this. I had my our baby (pet dog) cremated after she passed away and did not know what to do with the ashes after I did it. My wife and I decided to get matching pendants with ashes of our baby set in them, they were made by a really nice lady in the US. The hardest part for me was scattering the rest of them in the ocean. I had a friend of mine also make his father's ashes into a glass ornament, which is also stunning, I don't know where he purchased his.
