credit card/ travel agent dilemna

    So I wanted to get my ticket dates extended for my trip to Australia. I called the travel agency and proceeded to do that. They charge 25 dollars for the change and whatever the price differene would be (which was like 60 dollars more in my case). However, I had to give them a new card since my old card expired. I gave them my debit card info. Instead of extending the dates, the dumbass at the agency applied me for a refund to my debit account. Well that wasnt supposed to happen but this is whats happenning now: Apparently the agencies finance dept credited my debit card Friday the 21st. It hasnt showed up on my card or bank. I called the card company and they said there was no transaction for credit in the past week. They also told me that since I did not purchase the ticket on the debit card, it could not be credited. Well I told this to the agency and they keep on telling me taht it takes up to a week tos how up on the card. Well it hasnt been a week, however the card company is telling me that they cant credit it since I never purchased it on that card. This is being a real pain in the ass and the agency is just being stubborn. Its not a small travel agency either. STA travel...

    anyone have any advice?
