After two years of lusting I finally took advantage of the weak GBP and bought a new pair of C&J Weymouths from Pediwear. In fact, the cost in USD went down ~$10 from when I ordered them until I was charged upon shipment.
When they finally arrived I was happy to see that unlike other new Weymouths I've seen in antique brown, mine are actually antiqued. However, after one wearing they seem to be developing a very grainy crease across the vamp. My tan C&J wholecuts don't have this problem. Is this because of the Weymouth's finish? Is there anything I can do before it gets worse?
Thanks!
