cream sport coat-now what

I have a cream sport coat that was dug out of my parent's closet. It was mine in high school from an internship in D.C. After some tailoring it fits well but I am struggling with what colors to wear with it. 15 years ago the only options were a light blue or white shirt. The coat has some brown and tan speckling in it.

It could also be worn today with a patterned white/light green shirt. Colors like pink and purple aren't as certain.
