Cowboy boots

Hi there! I wear Size 10 1/2D in Ostrich Cowboy Boots and I wanted to buy another pair but only size they have are 11D. How would they fit compared to 10 1/2D? Should I take a risk? What kind of cowboy boots do you wear and what size? Southern Gent46

I wear 10.5 Lucchese classic boots and I have a few 11D Lucchese classics. If they feel a little lose I'll wear a thicker sock. Also , I'd put in a pair of Ariat boot inserts if the boot feels too lose. But usually the size difference is minimal. Some of my 11s fit just fine without anything but my normal boot socks.i hope this helps.

Personally, when it comes to western boots, I will always prefer an out of the box fit that is slightly snug to one that is too loose. Your heels will slip if they don't fit you well. You can definitely add inserts if you need to, and that might help with the fit. As an aside, there is a thread devoted to western boots here if you want some additional browsing material:
