I'd consider those are more of a box toe than a round toe. I think it's what Black Jack calls a "V Toe".

Thinking he may be referring to the second pair, the tan leather, which are indeed round toe, unlike the first pair which have a squared off toe.

Hello Again All

Thank you everyone for responding to my prior post re the earlier post on those beautiful tan Black Jack Boots. I wonder if i could avail of the forum’s wisdom again. This time I'm trying to find out any information on “Star Boots”. The Brand is an in-house/OEM made in Leon from Lebeda’s Boot Hideaway, a long time western wear dealer in NJ. One of the few if not the last boot retailer in the Metro NY area. (40 plus years in the same location).

Anyway, i have been very impressed by this recent purchase but did not get any info from Lebeda’s as i was actually under the impression they were a Boulet when i bought them.

Here is their generic retail page: https://www.lebedasboots.com/starboots-men/. Have not been able to get much out of the store on the phone either.

The build quality is fantastic, built like tanks but supremely comfortable. They appear to have all the hallmarks of a top notch boot, all leather, no synthetic materials, lemon wood pegs, tough outsoles; great welt construction and stitching and feel incredibly solid. They are kind of proof that Leon can produce whatever is requested from entry level up to top tier.

So was curious if anyone had any info on this manufacturer/maker or brand?

Also would appreciate any opinion on what type of toe this boot has? Seems to be cross between a french and cutter toe, but I'm not an expert. Or close to the BlackJack V Toe just provided earlier

Ive attached some interior pics, but not sure if this can give any guidance. But any info appreciated. Basic googling only reveals two other retailers who carry this “Brand” (little ranch and tim’s but no info). I suspect that Lebeda’s is also a distributor but only guessing….

Probably favorite pair of all I own. Understated, not overly cowboy, comfortable as hell, and built like a western boot version of Aldens. I think you need a pair.
Rios snip toe natural ?
