Its been the 90s since I wore boots and I remember Justin being a mid-level quality boot. Good, consistent but nothing bespoke. $225 for real gator seems fair if in good condition. However is it just "trimmed" in gator or "full" covering. Conditon is probably most important in regard to price. One more thing about boots is manufacturing shifted a lot in these last 20-30 years. In the 90s I think Justin were still made in TX. Hope this gives you some direction.

Don't have any at the moment. Had 6 pair but sold all to a friend because I hadn't worn them in 10 years. May get a pair soon. I get ads from this company Tecovas. They look decent and affordable. At least they talk a good game. Doubt they are made in the U.S. but what is anymore? Wish I had kept my boots. All from the 80s and 90s. Tony Lama, Dan Post, Justin. Also had a pair of Sanders I really liked.
