Please define 'support your brother'. Is he a defendant? This might have some bearing on what to wear. Also, any defences he might be using, like insanity, could help, esp. with respect to wearing a waistcoat and perhaps some braces and a Hawaiian shirt.

Ask your brother's lawyer, or just dress the way your brother is going to dress.

We usually tell clients to dress up like they are going to church. Just giving them instructions to dress up lead to a few dressing like they were going out clubbing. Wearing sequins or spandex to family court is often a bad idea.

Sounds like excellent advice.

Bad advice if this is California. Dude might end up in shorts, flip flops and a t-shirt that can be an undershirt.

Shirt and suit colors are fine for court, but I wouldn't buy a wool/poly blend.

All wool. Wear a blue shirt, it makes people trust you.

I recommend a copy editor. Seriously, do you ever read what you've typed before posting? This is the worst kind of laziness (I refuse to believe you're that poor of a speller). Taking an extra 30 seconds before pressing Submit will make the experience more pleasant for others, and increase your odds of being taken seriously.

Pet peeve.

Burnbulb is a bit special, but, in his defense, remember that this is an international forum in which English is the primary means of communication. I do not believe that English is his first language.

I considered that possibility, but judging from other posts he's made (I took a quick look), and the fact that syntax does not appear to be the issue, I'll stick with my initial appraisal: laziness. Oh, and punctuation I assume is ordinarily used in most any language...?
