True. I'm just venting because AMC really dropped the ball.
I'm just glad we are getting a planned out finish to the show. I hate it when shows drag on forever without an end goal in mind. Delays or not, we should get a good product in the end.
AMC just revealed that the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad will begin July 15. The sixteen episode season will be split in two: Eight episodes will air this year and then we’ll have to wait a whole other year, Summer 2013, for the final eight. Talk about your good news, bad news scenario.
I'm guessing a cash grab to release a season five part 1 DVD set and then a part 2, before going for a Breaking Bad all five seasons set. Going to be a long wait between the two parts.
Hopefully they sell the 1/2 season DVD set for cheaper.
also, who is the red head in ur avatar?
Such a badass promo poster.
Gawd, I'm nearly shaking in anticipation!
Holy fuck, July 15th. Holy fuck, that might as well be tomorrow. That show owns me. Cant wait.
Dude, breaking bad and batman in the same week.
I think he's reading too much into the guy's comments, but thought I would share. Could we be seeing a Breaking Bad film?
Yeah, I agree that there's some hopeful interpretation there, but it would be seriously cool. I'm not so sure, though: Gilligan may well want to wrap things up with the show's finale...it just seems like the kind of showrunner he is. But I'm just interpreting as well, so there you have it.
I dont see a movie in this.
The show should end after the next 16. I wouldnt want to see it spoiled with some shit box office money grab and I hope they keep their integrity in place so that it doesnt happen. Please let it end properly and not like some shit superhero movie sequel.
I hope they choose to take it to the logical end and let Walt go completely dark. Those 2 clips indicate that could be the case which is great. It makes the most sense. He owns Saul now if he wants to. Mike is the one that he can probably never own. I would expect that to be the most complex dynamic. I wonder who they will introduce into the mix. Gus's impact left a massive hole to fill.
Came across this, one of my favorite scenes from the entire series:
You are right, they really should end it with the next season as originally planned. Keep the pacing tight. Besides It's a TV show and may not translate as well as you would like to film.
