"What if like all the equipment is in Mexican and not English?"
Yeah I was thinking what Gus told Jesse wasn't true either. But why would the cartel care if Walter is dead or alive? Only Tuco's mongoloid cousins cared.
I've always been under the assumption (though I could be wrong) that Tuco dies, cartel sends cousins to kill Walter, Gus diverts cousins onto Hank, Hank kills cousins (or his actions effectively kill them both). As a direct result of the events above the cartel turns on Gus, Gus sends hit squad to cartel leader's house, cartel begins applying pressure to Gus to get Gus to sit down and hear the ultimatum.
I guess I never assumed that independent of the whole cousins come to kill Hank thing that the cartel wanted to muscle in on Gus's operation and Gus saw it as an opportunity to take the cartel down a notch.
Given my earlier line of reasoning I would just think that the cartel wants Hank dead because he has killed (or indirectly been responsible for the death of) a few of their dudes.
Gus shouldve been poisoned idk what jesse was thinking? anyone have any insight?
yeah, I didn't think that the cousins came on their own, that it was part business, part revenge.
no way, Gus gets poisoned and somebody worse would come in to the picture. Gus' character is pretty logical and wont do anything to jeopardize his operation, other dealers/cartel guys will do something random to make a point. Gus is better for Walt/Jesse's sake.
gus gets poisoned mike is pretty much retired at this point, and blow up el pollos hermanos,, these is no operation after that.
Also, I think it's interesting that when Gus and Jesse sat down for dinner that Gus asked Jesse if he was capable of cooking Walt's recipe. Clearly Gus doesn't believe anybody, save Walt, to be capable of cooking Walt's recipe. As such, I think it was a tip off that whatever he told Jesse we would know to be BS.
Man, I haven't watched any of the episodes yet this season.
It sounds really, really good.
I really don't think Gus is silly enough to trust Jesse with teaching a bunch of cartel guys how to cook -- let alone the day-to-day operations at the HQ -- but crazier things have happened.
gus has something up his sleeve , he must be onto the cigareete plot i cant imagine he doesnt have jesses home bugged, mikes been there a million times
Of course not. He is trying to drive a wedge between them. Jesse is star struck.
I do think Gus was being honest. Jesse is expendable. Walt is not. He'll send the 2nd string. If I was Jesse I'd be freaking the fuck out about being shipped off to chico.
OH MY FUCKING GOD.
Yeah...I don't know about that.
holy shit. speechless.
