Thank God they picked blue for the meth colour. What would have happened if they picked green?

We got the as-happy-as-it-could-be ending. My thoughts for an alternative...

The slash-and-burn ending: Walt never is able to get the remote back. He gets popped in the head by Uncle Jack.

GRRM option: Lydia still dies. Todd takes revenge for Lydia's death and kills Skyler & the baby in front of Walter Jr, but leaves Walter Jr. alive.

Death-from-the-grave option: After killing Walt, Uncle Jack asks one of his goons to move the car. He uses the clicker and bam, the M60 goes off and everyone dies.

My alternate ending:

Walter White, against his will, turns himself in as the only option. He rats out on Lydia and her Europe operation in return for witness protection. He is placed into witness protection as...Hal.
His character from Malcolm in the Middle. How badass would that show seem if it were Walter White in the witness protection

I wonder how much BB had to pay for the use of a classic pop or rock song for this type of TV show? Anyone know the current rate on TV?

I know a classic rock band that licensed a song to a major beer company for 6 months for $250K then it was picked up again for another $250K. Also a rocker who licensed a song for a year to a national retail chain for $1M. Both of these were 6 years ago.

I paid 40K for 1 year of a Nina Simone song for a client. TV rates run less than advertising rates and there is an enormous upside for the band. These weren't exactly on anyone's current playlist, but they sure are now.

Apparently the music supervisor advised against "Baby Blue". Gilligan stuck to his guns.

Yeah, I know a "Little Ole Band" in Texas that does quite well when their songs are used in TV or advertising.

As to BB. I thought the lead line "Guess I got what I deserved" was the perfect end with WW laying there and maybe thinking back as he dies.
