Could anyone recommend a hotel in San Fran?

My wife and I are taking our first vacation since our honeymoon (and second vacation in 8 years). Sad -- I know. At any rate, we are going to SF for part of the trip, and then to Napa. We have Napa worked out, but we were wondering if anyone has recommendations on the following hotels. We have tried to narrow it down:

Huntington Hotel
Campton Place
Hotel Drisco
Hotel Vitale
The Orchard Hotel (or Orchard Garden)

Other recommendations are welcome. We looked at Mandarin Oriental, but thought it would probably be better to pick a boutique. Price is not a major concern, although an extremely expensive hotel is probably out.

I've eaten at Campton Place, but didn't stay there. The meal was outstanding.

On my last visit to SF I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton and got the Mercedes package. Thus, I had unlimited use of a car during my entire stay.

i've always been partial to the Mark for sentimental reasons and otherwise. make sure they've finished construction though. and if you stay there, grab a few drinks at the Top of the Mark with the Mrs.

St Regis and/or the Four Seasons.

I have stayed at the St Regis a dozen times, it's a great hotel and close to everything.

I usually stay at the Clift Hotel when I'm in SF. Great location!
