I saw a handful in a Lacoste final clearance rack in a smaller Manila mall, for $15. I liked the style but passed because it looked like the creases wouldn't go away quickly.

What's your question? I have one cotton tie that I love for casual situations, Armani, $30.

Sorry. I was just wondering what cotton/silk ties are for, and how they compare to normal silk ties?

What are they for? Huh? They're not made for any particular situation. I have a mega-thick Canali cotton/silk that looks great with a sportcoat or suit.

Go with your gut, my friend.

Okay... is there anything different about them? Do they get rumpled more easily or something?

I have a Brooks Bros. tie that is 58% silk and 42% cotton. It is thicker than most of my 100% silk ties. However, it wears similar to my other ties and creases come out of this tie just like any of my other ties.
