any brands that are good?
What's a cotton cafe racer?
are you talking about some sort of motorcycle made from textiles?
What's wrong with a Schott Perfecto?
Marlon Brando wore it in The Wild Ones. The iconic motorcycle jacket, still made.
Its in leather though.
I've been riding bikes for 20 years... probably ridden over 150 different bikes and I've never seen one made out of cotton. Bamboo and wood, carbon fiber, steel, aluminum yes, but never cotton. That would be a first for me.
the discontinued RL ones are pretty good though I doubt you can use any protection with them
so i guess there are no cotton versions? i could have sworn that is where the cut of some cotton jackets i have been seeing come from. like a baracuta g4. except more like the cut of the leather version of the g4. ack sorry for the added confusion.. thanks for the replies though..
also though i used to ride i have no plans of sing this jacket something for that purpose. i just like the cut i guess. rounded collar. not much suppression around the waist. pretty short jacket overall.. i am open to suggestions of course.. the g4 mentioned is a possibility..
that rl is pretty nice.. cannot tell if it is in cotton and leather though. if in cotton that is pretty much what i mean..
I have a black cafe racer in waxed cotton with a belted waist that can be converted to a quasi-sportcoat from Factotum...seen a few from Jap brands before.
Converted by clipping the neck zipper areas to rivets to form lapels.
^edit: yeah looks similar to the rl posted above. my factotum is cut alot slimmer tho.
