guys

Is a cotton blazer suitable for work during the summer - it's technology and most folks have suits or wool sport coats on

Also, in terms of maintenance, do cotton blazers wrinkle up after every wear? I hope it doesn't have to go to the dry cleaner very often

thanks

Technology and people are wearing suits?

Pics of blazer? And just because it wrinkles does not mean you need to take it to the dry cleaners often.

Tech support round my place usually comes dressed in a Star Wars t-shirt and a goatee...

I imagine "technology" or "IT" wear is something like this....
700

Or South Park, Star Wars, Death Metal bands, Warhammer, etc.

A blazer might be overdressed. LOL.

Well, there is the tech industry and there is tech (IT) support (inhouse).

IBM execs usually dress differently than Vishal from user help desk...

Really only you can decide what is acceptable in your workplace. Certainly I (and nor could anyone else) cannot claim to have any knowledge of what would be said, either publicly or behind your back.

You're 100% gold with a cotton blazer in the summer. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
