30 to 50% off on selected merchandise from Leffot for their annual sale - starting today! I suppose it's off topic but I got a pair of Rider chukka boots in rust suede and a G&G Barclays in mole suede for about $950. Not bad.

These two-tie derbies of Corthay have an added benefit for those with petite feet: with no caps or medallion to brake lines, they elongate. This is something I don't see (read) mentioned too often, though its best effect goes for those with size 40 or below. Those with 45 or more, Corthay pairs will give more length than the doctor orders.

Good to know, I do wonder what the actual time frame is now however?

Fantastic colour. I find the last on the Arca a little too narrow for my foot.

You can make the Arca in the 002 last which is a roomier roundish toe.

I'd like to bump this thread. Can we make this an official Corthay appreciation thread? I can not believe that Vass, St. Crispin's, and John Lobb all have threads dedicated to them...but none for Maison Corthay?? Tut Tut.

If you look at my comments on this thread in regards to my pair I think you will see why I don't "appreciate" them more.

Well...with all due respect, Patrick, I thought we established on other threads that you go through shoes faster than most?
