I have the same problem with a pair of CJs, what is Crazy glue? I bought shoe goo or some sort of glue for shoes,is it good?

I guess I will glue it down, but not with crazy glue. It happened just over some time. I do a lot of walking. I live in NYC so my shoes take a beating with each wear.

From memory Corthays are channeled GY welted, so that might just be the cover on the recessed channel lifting off.
Would glue it back down, but ask one of the shoe experts here - DFWII, Bengalstipe, etc - about it first.

It's just decorative. You can cut it off or glue it back. If you glue it back, it will eventually wear down and the stitching will be exposed anyway.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It's worn down to the stitching before on my other shoes, but never peeled like this. Thanks for all of the responses, guys.

No reason not to glue it down if you wanna. Elmers time. Do not call Leffot, call a shoe repair place. Leffot sells shoes, does not repair them.
