Correct length of WOMEN'S suit jacket cuffs/sleeves?

My female friend has several suits of varying sleeve lengths. Some are way to long at half way down my wrist; others are at base of thumb/bottom of wrist bone. What is the correct length for women's sut jacket sleeeves pls as every tailor I speak to has differing opinions? My understanding the sleeve should cover the wrist (to top of thumb) but others are saying half way down hand when arm is hanging down by side when measuring. Any definitive websites stating the correct cuff length for women's jackets? TIA

I've always wondered this myself. However, in practice, there don't seem to be any rules. My wife's old YSL fits as a men's jacket should at the wrist, her newer AKRIS is much longer; both seem congruent with the design intentions.
