I have heard varying things relating to this brand. How do their suits, shirts and ties in particular rank up with the rest?

Corneliani mainline suits are very solid. (Full canvas, great fabrics) CC Corneliani is half-canvassed, with just decent fabrics. Also slimmer cut.

Ties aren't usually seven-fold, but excellent nonetheless. Just sold a linen one here recently.

Also, all PRL suits are Corneliani made (half canvas, but with better fabrics than CC Corneliani). As are PRL made in Italy slacks.

I find across the board, Corneliani mainline quality is consistent with Canali mainline.

Corneliani used to be a brand held in very high esteem, I can only guess that their quality standards have dropped - either that or whatever winning style formula they once had was changed.

I find their mainline construction and fabric quality as good as Canali and Zegna. On a personal fit note, I do find that the OTR fit is 100% perfect on me as compared to the other 2 and that absolutely no tailoring is needed. The drape on shoulders is amazing and there is never bunching underneath the armpits in the back, and never any fabric rolling in the neck and traps area. For me I love that it is not as 'recognizable' of a brand compared to others, it means I can usually scoop them up during sales.

Mainline has 2 or 3 fits, with the Leader Drop 7 fit being better for more muscular builds. They also have a nice drop 6

The CC brand is not as good for fabrics.

Bloomies usually carries them as well as many other retail B&M shops

I have worn Corneliani mainline suits for a number of years and am very pleased with both construction and fabric. My last three suits have been from their MTM service and there is no way I am going back to OTR.

If you can find a store were they offer MTM, try it. It really is worth it.

Great suits I have two and they seem to have a more generous cut reminiscent of the UK/US sizes rather than Italian.

I recently bought a 'Leader Soft' model suit and am very pleased with it. It is definitely better than the mainline Corneliani suits I had before.

Edit: Found a pic

I have a corneliani suit from the 80's that belongs to my dad. No mark of its being from the 80's—it's timeless, very sleek, not to much padding in the shoulders, beautiful button stance, and the fabric is tops. It's lasted 30 years, if that says anything.

Corneliani used to be my favorite maker. Nice stuff and good value for money. The styling I've seen from them lately hasn't appealed, but if I found something I liked, I'd buy without hesitation.

I've never been disappointed with the quality of their product.

I just bought a new model at Harrod's in London. Very soft shouldered, cut a little shorter than previous models I've had from them. But nothing trendy either.

Are the ones on Yoox inferior quality (or just not mainline)? The retail price looks too low.

I have one suit, a few shirts and a cardigan sweater by Corneiliani. I am happy with all of it and agree on details mentioned in previous posts. Thumbs up.
