I have taken a shine to shirt jackets after seeing Will's. They seem very useful, and I imagine they become even better as they are lived in. The discussion on LL piqued my interest further. Anyway, I'd like to have one made if the cost is not prohibitive. So first, I wonder how much one would cost - at least a range if I went, for instance, to My Tailor. I know this depends on fabric, details, etc. Do these work best in linen, linen-cotton, all cotton? I envision a rusty brown corduroy. Is corduroy feasible for these? If you were going to get one, what color and fabric would you choose? Any special details?

Corduroy should be ideal...especially a 22oz unlined version

price...good grief, expect to pay about the same that you ordinarly would pay your tailor for a jacket
