Cordovan?

Looks like corrected grain leather. Worst of the worst. They will disgrace your entire family. Please throw them in the garbage immediately.

My guess is that they aren't shell cordovan. I'm inclined to believe they are corrected grain leather as another poster suggested. If they had been worn a bit, I'd be able to know for sure, but even as they are, the leather just isn't what I'm used to seeing with shell cordovan.
