1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Had a box of shoes stop in here on the way to Luxeswap for a brush up. Here are a few of them.

@SpooPoker sent in this humongous Malo bag for a cleanup. I'd call it a weekend bag, but I could probably pack for a week in it. Some unusual challenges with this project. The bag looks like it was in the bottom of someones closet and trampled on or crushed. The flap had taken on a seemingly incorrigible form and needed to be pressed for a week, and will rely on diligent storage moving forward. The bag also has roughly 8 oz of sterling silver hardware, that was looking pretty rough. It had originally been coated with a plastic film to keep it shiny longer, but large pieces of the film had been worn off and it had a bad look. Most of the hardware was removable, so it was all removed. even the screws are sterling silver.

Great job and +1 on the second statement: don't let perfect get in the way of better.
