Correction: not Hacking, but Hackett as in Jeremy offers STRETCH cotton jackets. It's clear for me STRETCH cotton is usually preferable in trousers to 100% cotton. That's another problem with C's.

Does anyone know what time of year Cordings tends to have their best sale for tweed suits? Their Winter sale savings are paltry, $13 off a few tweed trousers is all. I know they have a summer sale and Black Friday, but I don't know if they tend to discount their tweed at these times. Thanks for any tips you might have.

If I remember correctly, the tweeds don’t get a heavy discount.

Does anybody know how cordings restocks their tweed suits collections.

I would like to acquire the complete lightweight elland tweed suit (trousers, vest and jacket), but the trousers are currently out of stock and I need a jacket on the short term. Can I confidently buy the jacket, knowing that the trousers will be available later?

Some are restocked every year (or so) while others are never restocked. It is best contact them - they are pretty good in replying to emails (1-2 days). I was looking for a particular tweed jacket and they told me that it is not going to be stocked again. So, it is best to check individual item.
