As you can see, I'm a huge fan of that movie.

Ah... my forte' - the motion picture industry.

"cool" eh? I'll give it a whack.

    Mickey Rourke - Sin City
    Antonio Banderas - Desperado
Bruce Lee - Enter The Dragon
    Morgan Freeman - Shawshank Redemption
Kevin Spacey - The Usual Suspects

Sort of an eclectic mix, but whatever. Those are the coolest characters that haven't been mentioned yet as far as I'm concerned.

    I noticed a conspicuous lack of African-Americans.  Here's my "all-brothers" list:

Samuel L. Jackson -- Pulp Fiction
Eddie Murphy -- Beverly Hills Cop
    Laurence Fishburne -- Matrix Series
Will Smith -- Enemy of the State
Denzel Washington -- Man on Fire

I recognized this after my first post here as well. I set out to get more. In addition to those that you have, there is Sidney Poitier, as MISTER Tibbs, In The Heat Of The Night Ron O'Neal, as Priest, Superfly Richard Roundtree, as Det. John Shaft, Shaft Ernie Hudson, as Winston Zedemore, Ghostbusters

I thought to include Samuel L. Jackson from PF, but I knew someone else would include him, and I forgot Eddie Murphy in BHC, thats a good one.

The rest of the characters on your list I just didn't find to be very "cool".

I thought Denzel was better in Mississippi Masala and The Mighty Quinn. And, I liked Fishburne better in Boyz N the Hood. Trivia, a very young (18?) Fishburne had a role in Apocalypse Now.

And, someone no one has mentioned yet, Cary Grant in just about anything. I liked him in Notorious. He and Bergman shined in that one. In fact, I like just about every Hitchcock film.
