Sounds about right for me, I'm a 8E/8.5D. Must... resist.

Stay away, you savages! I've been eyeing those for weeks, giddily watching the price decrease.

Any of you Alden experts recognize this model? I asked the seller for the numbers written inside the shoe and was told that it's 93 22Y025 14, whatever that means. I can't say that I've ever seen a heel like that on an Alden.

I presume it's calf, not shell, but I'm not certain. What do you think?

    Thank you, must kop

Edit: Geez, jumped $70 overnight...can't you guys wait until the end until bid

Did you win? I decided to stay out of it as you and I have gone head to head and cost each other money enough times in the past, but had I known they would go for this price I would have been all over that. [IMG]

I bought those and subsquently returned them. They are trashed. The inner lining is pulling away from the shoes. They are really old. They are just plain brown calf PTBs. Alden used to have v-cleats a long time ago.

Nah, I wish I had gotten them at that price. I figured you guys would battle it out after that initial spike. Congrats to the lucky guy.

Bastard! [IMG] [IMG] Let me know if they don't fit, please.

[IMG] Will do. I saw them before they got posted here, and when they did, I too, figured they'd go too high. Threw a bid a the list minute expecting to get outbid, but surprisingly won them.

Same boat as me! I've already messaged asking for a buy now but no luck [IMG] I'm not really in a position to bid at that price this month so you should be good to go [IMG]
