1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Still sorting, but I'll put a few of the items on the 12 shoe thread you started, so we don't monopolize this thread. The pair I'm most torn about right now is a bnib pair of Alden cigar shell NST bluchers, but there are a few really interesting items.

Thanks! If it's more than one make a list and I might be interested!

I feel the same way about my Alden's. I feel like I should like them more just because of the short supply, popularity, and whether I think I could repurchase in future

^^^ Sorry, 12 is a weird size, it's either feast or famine when it comes to selection.

Speaking of cool shoes, Roman you probably won't know this shop, the late lamented New Republic, but Matt might. Was unpacking some boxes from our move this weekend and uncovered these:

I thought they had gotten lost in a prior move, but they were just in the wrong box.

The Sulkas were in the same box as the New Republics, should have a Sulka Ich Dein pair somewhere around here as well (when Sulka went OOB they were giving them away). The EG are more recent.

I remember that store. That's how Soho was cool in the 80s and 90s before it became a mall. NR was on Spring St between Bway and Mercer. The only time I could afford to buy their stuff new was at the closing sale in 1999, but last week I won an auction for a NR vest with striped piping :slayer:

I lived in soho at that time and, like you, couldn't afford much at NR, but I did hit their sales. It was a great store and soho was an awesome place to live.

That vest was a steal at that price, good catch.

It's single vent, and the liner don't look like any RLBL I've ever seen. The lapels are much wider than any RLBL I've seen. The pants have belt loops, which isn't conclusive because I do own a RLBL with belt loops, but it is not very common.
