There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Of course it could be: One shoe with three rows of different Norwegian stitching could just show the different configuration that can be achieved with Norwegian stitching (just like a child's cross stitch sampler). But it could also be a concious effort to attract the "if you've got it. flaunt it" brigade. After all, Berluti did that trick with the pearl-encrusted slippers for the 1977 coronation of "Emperor" Jean-Bédel Bokassa, which at the time (maybe they still are) were the most expensive shoes ever made.

This is a Berluti shoe (I don't know if it's bespoke or was from the (now defunct) ready-to-wear Ligne Bottier of classic designs.

This shoe achieves an almost Zen-like tranquillity in it's perfectly-judged proportions and it's delicate use of colouring and comes about as close to perfection as it is humanly possible. Berluti has done it once, maybe they can do it again. But then........maybe they don't want to.

As the saying goes: "Where there is muck, there is brass!"

Hi speedster. Long time no see!

I'm afraid, I don't know anything more about those shoes.
I saved the picture a while back on my computer, but I can't remember where it came from.

I have been around but sparingly, to much other stuff going on as a family man.

I tend to have the same problem, nice samples saved. But not enough angles ...

I should post some updates regarding shoes, but taking pictures and posting takes some time.

[IMG] It's pretty short (52") and appears to be 3" wide from tip to tail.

At least he managed to get some gym shorts on before he took the picture (far right of cover picture in the mirror). All class.

    maybe intentional because:

    a) a small detail like that DOES attract peoples attention. On this well trafficked website 5+ posts have already been dedicated to his sale. Free xtra Advertising.

    OR

    b) exhibitionist.
