    I'm sure they're Lattanzi.

    Here's a pair I recently sold:

I believe they are - I've seen that script and heel pattern before on Lattanzi for JS. Similar pattern on a pair rebel sold:

Also, light blue grenadine by Drake's on MrPorter:

I have pair of Lattanzi for Jil Sander and they seem legit to me (cant remember the nail patterns on the toe but all other details seem absolutely right)

    captoes are derbies, not captoes.

Which details, except for the placement of the sizing on the sole (which looks fine).

In the pairs Lattanzi does for other makers, when the Brand Name is handwritten, he adds "Sylvano Lattanzi Per..." and when the Lattanzi name is missing, it is the maker's stamp.

SL for Jil Sander (note the Jil Sander stamp on the footbed + the 10 nails at the toe)

    SL for To Boot

Handwritten "Made in Italy" is found only on the Lattanzi for JS. Lattanzi's name has never been written on the JS shoes, that I know of. On the waxed suede shoes above (my pictures), JS is not handwritten, but the "Made in Italy" is written inside. Also, below JS label is "Hand Made," but it is difficult to see in that pic. The nail pattern on the heel and the pins at the toe are also a dead giveaway.

Finally, all the Lattanzi for JS shoes are hand welted. There is a distinct texture to the interior footbed on most hand welted shoes.

Also, Lattanzi does not include his name on the shoes he makes for Brioni.

+1. Lattanzi doesn't write "Lattanzi per ___" for all makers.

The script is consistent with other pairs I've seen that are Lattanzi for JS:

Shame I am travelling right now otherwise I would have posted a few pics of my shoes.
I cannot remember the nail pattern but the sole overall is exactly the same as mine. The waist is quite characteristic. iirc the insole has 'Jil sander' handwritten

    Mine were bought from stilmacher

I already knew about the Brioni's, To Boots, and others. That "Made In Italy" handwritten on the side is a GREAT piece of info though, guys. Thanks for that one. What threw me was that toe nail pattern. Never seen just 3. Maybe that is unique to their JS shoes. Thanks again, guys, learned some good stuff today!

they are definitely lattanzi, the size marking, nail pattern, and sole (I've noticed most lattanzi soles have this unusual color/texture on their soles unlike any other pair of shoes I've ever owned) all point in that direction.

I was wondering if you guys would give advice to me as a new seller on Ebay. I listed some shoes and jackets and was rather surprised that most of them did not even get an offer. Unfortunately, I am unable to relist the items until I get back from Istanbul on the 6th of January.

The items that perplexed me by not attracting interest were:
Crockett & Jones gently worn Chelsea 3 in chestnut - $249.99
Marc Jacobs white leather jacket worn once - $299.95
Worth & Worth cashmere felt fedora NWOT - starting bid - $49.95
Barrett of Italy navy suede loafers NEW with box - $89.95
To Boot Suede Oxford (The Evan) Gently worn a couple of times - $89.99

I tried post photos, but I am not quite sure if it will work.

    Thanks very much.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
