    Those Lobbs happen to be in my size. Any thoughts on what could be done to the trim around the top?

    I can live with soles that are reworked.

    These might make some interesting semi casual shoes.

    NO, THEY WERE JUST TOO SMALL FOR ME, AND MY 50+ COLLECTION OF VINTAGE/ANTIQUE RARE BESPOKE SHOES ARE MUCH TOO BIG, MEANS IM SELLING THE ONES THAT DOESNT FIT ME.

    Don't recognise the heal but definitely not EG...you paid an awful lot for them, are you going to recraft?

    I believe they're Grenson, I do recall them being introduced alongside the Grenson-made shoes a few years back. Nice boots, and I think you paid a reasonable price for them.

    Another vote for Grenson. The heels are similar to C&J, but the nail pattern matches up with Grenson. Here's a sample Grenson heel.

    To Gerry, I agree! the nails were "clustered", and NOT like the traditional equidistant Grenson nail pattern!!!!!!!!!!! Can't say C&J, but NOT what Grenson usually does.
