Actually, although I have been told not to comment on my dads auctions here, by my dad, I cannot let a wrong opinion go without comment. Those boots are my moms, who is a true US size 6.5. They fit her perfectly. My dad is selling them to teach her some sort of lesson because he has bought her dozens of high-end boots/shoes and then she doesn't wear them, but won't let him sell them. Her closet is overflowing with shoes and boots and he stubbed his toe on these and got pissed off so he is listing them without her knowledge. I won't get into marked sizes, US verses UK, because I am not an expert on these matters, but I happen to know, personally, that those boots fit my mothers size 6.5 feet perfectly so, in this case, I would suggest listening to the seller. I realize, normally, that a women's UK size 6.5 or 65 would normally translate to a US size 9, but look at the measurements. These are nowhere close to a US size 9. They are definitely ladies boots, by the way, which I see others have pointed out.

don't think he said you were "wrong" per se. Just think he says they fit his mother & has personal experience with the fit of this particular pair.

I respectfully disagree. I love my duckie brown shell shoes and now boots. Thanks J

edit- i would stay away from the navy shell. Looks like blue/green popsicle. Duckie Brown quality is a notch below Alden but the last is much sleeker, a trade-off im willing to make. Also, the shell is sourced from Horween which make this one of the best shell boots for your buck.

You got me wondering if pops made a mistake so I went and took some measurements of my own. My moms Tanino Crisci loafers are marked a size 37, also fit her US size 6.5 feet, and measure 9.75 inches on the insole, just like the boots. Her Lobb Bespoke heels, while unmarked for size on the shoes, are custom-made for her US size 6.5 feet and also measure 9.75 inches on the insole, just like the boots.

I guess you're opinion is wrong because you said "Don't listen to the seller, it isn't "6.5" based on conversion charts or other means and I measured the actual boots, compared them to other shoes, and they all measure to the same size, a US 6.5 in ladies shoes. Maybe these were made for the US market and were marked in US sizes? In any event, nothing personal was intended by my comment that your opinion is wrong, but I gotta defend my pops if he is right, no? :)

Have you actually converted UK size into US size yet, or are you still harping on about this "6.5" (I've never seen a crockett & jones ladies shoe not listed in Brannock)? a 6.5 US is a 4Uk so maybe that's why they fit your mother, eh?
