Good bin on used Borrelli brown dub monks
this is true.
I nabbed these thanks J.
seller sent the shoes fedex overnight at no additional charge. shoes are kinda hideous but the leather looks unique
Speaking of hideous.
I thank they just eviscerated that eel, painted it white and now it's on sale.
The last is quite similar:
This is a weird looking animal: perforated single monk ankle boots?
Rather nice SAB vest with what looks like MOP buttons:
Good start for Ghurka suit carrier:
Thanks! That's now seared in my mind ...
I've seen those kinds of things around on ebay before... especially 60s era Carnabetian vintage, but these are clearly recent. I can't decide if I like them or not.
Bad seller pics can hide a lot (some good and some bad). SO, it was a GRAIN that was in the photos! I had thought that was fine cracks in smooth calf from the pics (as is seen in SO MANY vintage Lobbs). I stand corrected. As with a lot of vintage shoes, Grain leather has proven to be quite durable and long-lasting over time. You definitely made a good call & took the chance.
