Of course your keen eye would notice! Thankfully not a horrendous 60's style monk strap!
Yeah. I would've preferred he didn't, but this gentleman has made a bunch of purchases, and this 1 pair didn't fit him. I would've taken them back, but he just decided to re-sell instead. No problem.
Thanks for the "heads up", though, friend!

Hey watch it, those monk straps turned out to be crocodile, and yes they bite.

Magnanni double monk straps 11D in mid brown with burnished toe - BIN $202 + $3 shipping (regularly $425). Being sold by Last Call by Neiman Marcus.
Geez. Check out Last Call's awful feedback. Get it together.
+1 WTH?! 63 Negs in one month and they are still trading?!
Yes, but look at some of the feedback:
"they were to expesive for item"

Portolano Button-Keyhole Glove, Wine (#280735970484)
Well who's the idiot who bought them at that "too expensive for the item" price? The buyer did and somehow it is the sellers fault?
Or this gem:
"The metal surrounding the pearls looked dull and therefore looked cheap!"

You got what was advertised, but you didn't like the way it looked in person so you give the seller a negative feedback?
Or my personal favorite:
"Size of earrings wasn't listed so I took a chance. Very large to be called studs"

Kenneth Jay Lane Round Cubic Zirconia Stud Earrings, Go (#250893803289)
Actually, the buyer did NOT "take a chance," as they claimed because they dinged the seller's feedback when the item just wasn't what they had hoped. Come on! They admit no size was listed, but they still bid? Is there any personal responsibility by anyone anymore? It pisses me off because I like the deals I get on Ebay, especially the ones found by members here in this very thread, but if it keeps going like this no one is going to want to sell anymore and then we will all have to pay retail for everything.
It appears to me that "Occupy Wallstreet" protesters are some of the buyers on that site and unless the item is given to them free of charge, shipping is free, they get to use it free for a month, piss all over it, and then get paid to return it to the seller, well, they are just not going to be happy.
This is good.
Over the past year or so I've had a few buyers start using the threat of negative feedback to try and get either a partial refund, or to return an item when they didn't check the size or just regretted the purchase.
It could be that as a big retail entity used to doing brick and mortar transactions, Last Call doesn't realize that part of doing business on ebay is eating shit for flaky buyers.
I may be onto some of the Arnys ties JHawk listed... if anyones going big on em, let me know.
Um, maybe I am missing something but the majority of negative feedback for that seller seem to have arisen from legitimate grievances. Wrong item shipped, weeks to ship, no item shipped, damaged goods, slow refunds, wrong refund amounts. Greedy buyers aren't always the only problem and in this case they appear not to be the core issue.
