Spoo, I dunno. I assumed you'd be first in line for this on the 27th... What you know about bespoke?

+1 Rather than shelling out $250K+ for one in elephant, I'll take mine in crocodile (even if it's not "one of a kind"), leaving me enough in change to at least buy an Aston. . . .

The pricing on this is just obscene - it was available at Artcurial's auction last November, though is recorded in the results as unsold. Guide price was €5500-6500:

    Results:

547 HERMES Paris made in france Rare Sac à Dépêches en cuir déléphant gris -- Unsold

I wonder how much it would cost to skip the case and just get an actual adult elephant to carry your stuff.

To be fair - I'd probably give it a whirl at a ridiculous price the first time round - seen as though it's pretty rare.

I think even Warren Buffet would have a hard time explaining to his wife that he'd spent quarter mil on a briefcase made from elephant skin.

This is the guy who lives in a home he bought for around 55k (this is a guess, all I know is that it was something low like that)

I did hear he gives out king size candy bars on halloween though :D
