That's what I'd do. Actually, Suede is one of the best leathers for longevity in shoes. The vintage pairs from the 30's that were made of suede & kangaroo have mostly done quite well. The calfskin ones... not so well by large.

good advice. To add to this, the best remedy for leather stains is TIME. Over time (and many applications of conditioner & polish), most staining fades in darker colored shoes.

Thank you. All of my recent lists were done on my iPhone. I moved recently and haven't really been motivated to sign up for Internet here yet.

A few odd things I found tonight:

SAB duck handle umbrella, kinda rough shape:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-SWAINE-ADENEY-BRIGG-DUCK-hEAD-Handle-Umbrella-EARLY-1900S-/170704798687

a&f made in England dartboard on one side, but the other...?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/ABERCROMBIE...ANTIQUE-DOUBLE-SIDED-DART-BOARD-/360397714326

    Several shooting sticks:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tirion-English-Seat-Stick-Hunting-and-Shooting-/180729562224

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-SHO...G-CARNIVALS-OUT-DOOR-EVENTS-ETC-/350495081853

And two Edwardian-era made of bamboo:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Edwardian-Bamboo-Brass-shooting-stick-Seat-1905-/320760428253

Rather ostentatious Panerai for Purdey. Apparently a whole series of these exist. They mind me of pocket watches I've seen at wal-mart and late night QVC.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Panerai-PAM-831-Luminor-Sealand-Purdey-LION-J-Serie-/180720111116

Purdey gun case with a lot of character:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/JAMES-PURDEY-SONS-/190581882653

    Mulholland bag:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/HOLLAND-BROTHERS-HANDMADE-Leather-Carry-BAG-/160656406644

    And shotgun shell case:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vtg-Holland...tgun-Shell-Pouch-Waist-Belt-Bag-/320766380085

And a nice briefcase with a low start:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAND-MADE-H...Y-LEATHER-SOFT-LAPTOP-BRIEFCASE-/250900084700

G&G with a low start. Not my style at all, but might make someone happy:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gaziano-Girling-Savoy-made-to-order-MTO-Shoes-10-5-D-/270826516082

    Tanner Krolle travel jewelry case:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-TANNER-KROLLE-LEATHER-JEWELRY-BOX-LIGHT-GREEN-3670-/380373620201

    Bottega Veneta card holder:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mint-authen...d-holder-mini-wallet-no-reserve-/130580699127

And finally, I do not understand the hype behind this BV croc wallet. The stitching and cuts aren't even straight.

You are not motivated to sign up for internet, yet you compile 2 massive lists in as many days, and post from your phone? With my patience level, IU think trying to post 2 links from my phone would be cause to sign up for internet providers. Also, nice G&Gs.

I've a pair of suede penny loafers from Sperry that are 30 years old. These poor shoes have been put through all manner of torture as they are essentially just a slightly dressy boat shoe (rubber sole). I wear them to the office on Fridays and while boating (freshwater) many a summer weekend. They've gone for plenty more than one 'dip' in the water. Nothing seems to harm them that can't be solved with a good brushing.

The suede still looks quite presentable - although the 'rubber' soles are finally starting to split.

It was a BIN at $600, but a fellow SF member kopped it by offering an offer that was auto-accepted

I picked up two last week. He combined shipping and shipped them FedEx overnight. I got them in like 2 days. And, the shirts wre spectacular, at least the two I purchased. The defects wre overstated, in my own experience. I think you are going to be quite pleased.

That sounds promising. Did the stains come out for you? Also, are they older Borrelli or new?

I am 1:1 in the one I have touched so far - I just tumble dried it this AM, and it shrank nicely (was originally worried about collar fit, and sleeve length)
