1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    requires pencil feet

I picked up a pair of Wright Shells in an A width and they are a little narrow, not too tight on my D foot, FWIW.

Look light you bought the shoes. So I guess they're 8.5 UK?

If they are for Barney's, they are US sized.

They came today - a little tight, but nothing unmanageable or unstretchable. Thanks again!

Are you sure you are a D?
A's are unbearable to me, but I can't even do Florsheim C's - have to do D's.

Erm... pretty sure. Im a "normal" width - never needed anything out of the ordinary in terms of width... which the default setting on width means D, correct?

Yeah ... I guess that would make you a D. I just can't get how you can fit in shoes that are a full size smaller and ones that are Narrow. Perhaps your tolerance is higher than most? I made a decision a while back that my tolerance for uncomfortable shoes is ZERO. If they don't fit right - away they go. Life is too short to wear ill fitting shoes.
