The 16.5 and above were all 36/37, which could be standard. But I thought 35 was standard.

I think they are stained. Plus, if bleach would work, $70 for a borrelli is pretty good.

    some have holes.

I once came across a borrelli shirt for $35 that fit perfectly but had a tiny hole on the chest (2 mm round) and I could not bring myself to buy it.

I think all the ones I purchased just have small marks. If it was any other colour than white - I wouldn't bother but for £25 a shirt it's worth a gamble.

Ah, did not see that. I have an Isaia SC that has a tiny hole in it on the sleeve, the fit is perfect and the pattern is my favourite of any SC I own. But even thought the hole is only 2mm across, it drives me nuts! :fu: I'm not quite sure how to go about fixing it, my tailor didn't want to try anything for fear of making it worse :(

Sounds like a job for a reweaver. What is the SC made of/what's the pattern?

Super 130's wool I believe. Its a brown with red check.... here's a link to the item.

It's from SF's very own cpmac7. He made the hole very well known, I just love this pattern/fabric :inlove:

I would have no problem shipping it out to get it fixed correctly, I doubt anyone in my area has the skill to fix it.

    for a SC - reweave.

    for a shirt, SOL.

The hole on the Borrelli was in the right location for a monogram, but I did not want to bother.

Yes beautiful jacket. I don't know about Omaha but I do a good reweaver can work miracles. I put my elbow through a window while wearing my favorite tweed last year (long story) and my guy was able to fix the entire elbow. Good as new.

I just did a quick Google search for reweaving in Omaha and this seems to be the only place listed. No idea of their quality but it's a starting point at least.

Nice find! They won the "golden scissors" from or in Italy in 1954. Anyone heard of this? :eh:

"Awarded Italy's Coveted, Golden Scissors" in 1954"

I will have to contact them. Hmm I frequent Minneapolis pretty often, if anyone has any experience with anyone in that area let know :)
