Black C&J captoes 11.5D. Looks like pretty good condition, but notes they've been resoled. BIN for $120, one bid at $35.

Personally, I found this to be the case.

Damn, was this is a good deal on these NWOB Lobbs? Never heard of the model and couldn't find anything searching for "Borsa"

Not sure about the model, but they don't look truly NWOB to me.

Not just in the listing, but the seller specifically states so in the description?

I don't know, he says he purchased them "Brand new, only tried on around my apartment." If the apartment has carpets, I don't see what the difference is between that and trying shoes on in the store, walking around in them, then not buying and they are they placed back into the box for someone else to buy, brand new. If what he says is actually true I, personally, don't think he stretched the truth. I have seen much worse, where the soles are severely scuffed, were used on the street at least once for an extended period of time, and the seller will claim "new, in box." This does not rise to the level or even close, IMHO.

By looking at the unevenness of the footbed, one can tell that the shoes are not new, and they must have been worn for quite a bit.

I think it's clear that with rubber soled shoes (and shoes with Topys), sellers are more likely to be dishonest with the condition (claims of NWOB) or number of wears on the shoe ("less than 3 wears" when the uppers look to have miles of wear).

If you can see all of that from the photos provided then your vision is far superior to mine. I look at the photo of the back of the heel and they look unworn to me. I look at an enlarged picture of the soles, albeit in shade, and I see no wear. [IMG] You guys must have access to enhancement software that I sure don't have. [IMG]
