I am going to get a new phone. Not an iPhone. I'd like something kinda cool and fun.

What type of phones would I be looking at? My carrier is Verizon.

Wait for the Droid Incredible by HTC.

Actually I think it's coming out soon; maybe already. Like a week ago or next week or something.

    Re: Incredible

My boss just got it to one-up my Nexus One. Pretty nice phone. Feels a little plasticky in comparison to the Nexus. Has two LED camera flash cells - one of my gripes with the Nexus is that it's flash kinda sucks.

We had a race and Verizon's network is about .4 second faster than T-Mobile's loading web pages on average.

I can't keep track of how many models there are and used to think there was "one" Droid. Is Droid basically the line of Verizon Google phones?

That is my understanding but I don't care enough to look it up and verify.

Every other smart phone I have tried has felt incredibly cheap compared to the Iphone and the interfaces really can't compare. Just sayin.

Verizon is branding every Android phone they come out with the name "Droid". I'm not sure why. Maybe they think people can't remember the whole word "Android".

Google phone = Nexus One. None of the other Android phones are made for Google. In fact, some of them don't even have Google apps built in. (AT&T... I'm talking about you)

Back in my day, the only Google phone was the G1.
