Will I be okay wearing this or will I be swimming in it if i buy the black XL size? Here are my measurements...

chest: 39 in
waist: 34 in
hips: 36 in
height: 72 in

Which one? Most korean stuff is very tight, I have ~38" chest and I'm almost always a size L. XL might fit the chest ok, but the arm holes tend to have extra fabric under them.

so do you think as a whole it would be wise to avoid the purchase until I can find a large? I certainly don't want baggy arms....

I'd wait until you find the right size for you man. Theres a lot of clothes I bought over the years because they were a good deal, that I don't wear because they didn't fit me as well as I like my clothes to. At least I donated them to goodwill.

Shoulder 48cm ~ 18.9 in
Chest 102cm ~ 40.1 in
Sleeve 62cm ~ 24.4 in
Total Length 66cm ~ 26 in

Wait for the large, definitely. The fit and details of this are probably the main reasons you're buying it, so getting a size too large would spoil everything.
