Does anyone use rotary hand sanders to re-finish furniture and can they be connected to the regular vacuume?

Nope, you need a specific vacuum for them. I use a festool dust extractor with my random orbit sander.

I prefer the Dixon, but I'm obviously biased. The Dixon looks more unique and is basically a fancy rocking chair. It also has 3 distinct "positions" depending on where you shift your weight (leaning forward, middle where it naturally sits, and leaning back), which I like and at the end of the day it's a super comfortable chair.

Yeah I know, I need the stuff to be relatively low though, going to be on a rug with piles of artbooks nearby. People keep sitting on the floor so I'm solving it with a low chair where they can either chill or read. Any other suggestions?
