Do you guys think a single wishbone chair works as a side/accent chair. Or are they really only suited as a dining room table chair?

But you don't drink.
1.I do drink, just sparingly.
2. I don't have to use it as a liquor cabinet.
3. I didn't get it sadly. I reached out to the seller to ask for an estimate on shipping, which they gave, and I replied back that I would take it if they got me an actual quote. No response for a few days and now it marked sold on their site.

Etsy can still be a source of surprising finds. It's not as anarchic as it used to be, but there are still some odd corners.
I've had surprisingly good luck finding things on Etsy. Got a vintage map of a somewhat obscure place we'd been looking for for months. Had eBay alerts setup and totally struck out. For some reason the selection was much better selection on Etsy.

I'm looking for a single, armless chair to fit into a library nook as an accent. Of course you can use a wishbone chair but I think something that makes a bit more of a statement adds more personality to a space. I'm on the hunt for a 40's-70's contemporary in a non-wood material to contrast with this 300 y/o table. Maybe leather and metal or one of those 60's period lucite chairs?

It has both arms and a wooden platform, but I think a Spanish chair would look great there.

Some ideas that I think would provide what is in my eyes a "healthy" level of contrast. Tried to keep in mind your idea of 40s-70s, leather, metal, lucite.

Branzi. Maybe too literal given the rusticity of everything else?

Casati lucite chairs, just with some different upholstery. Cool option for lucite.

Borek Sipek. This is 80s but a cool metal option and the colors feel like a natural complement to me to your surroundings.

@conceptual 4est you are "spot on" as far as ideas for a statement chair with with personality for my space. It is the ideal spot for us to add a touch of playful style and color to our minimal neutral home.
