I would define Art as anything that a random would see and say "that's badass".

Some nice looking stuff in there.

I wonder how available it will be...the coolest pieces form their Ilse Crawford collaboration were pretty difficult to source (at least in the states). Like, some stores got the daybed, but nobody anywhere got the cushion for the daybed...

Has anyone used picture rail systems for hanging art?

We're thinking about this too. Be interested in any responses...

Lost the auction. They're Niels Koefoed "Lis" chairs. I found others. They want like $4-6k for a set of six on sites like firstdibs. The estimate on liveauctioneers (which had almost no description) was $500-700, and it sold for $1100. Plus the 28% buyer's fee and shipping was too much for me considering the risky condition.

I do love those chairs. Someone nearby posted another one of his designs claiming original fabric in good shape for not too much, but I don't love them as much.

4 for 1200 Euro from this seller on vntg.com, IME the best C20th sales site, although you always have to factor in shipping costs from Europe: https://www.vntg.com/53960/set-of-4-lis-dinner-chairs-from-the-sixties-by-niels-kofoed-for-hornslet-møbelfabrik/

Or 6 of his Eva chairs (which I don't like quite as much) for 1695 Euro: https://www.vntg.com/52300/set-of-6...sixties-by-niels-kofoed-for-kofoeds-hornslet/

But, even with the shipping costs from Europe, both are going to better value than anything on 1stDibs...

I can do better locally for that set, but thank you for the site recommendation.

You're welcome. We have bought two Danish lounge chairs and a couple of lights via that site. But then we don't have anything resembling local sources for good quality mid-century stuff - Canadian dealers are generally expensive, and even in Toronto and Ottawa the options are really limited compared to the big US cities.
