HI ZJPJ83 I love your curved top door going into the kitchen area. Was that original or did you have that done when your put in the cabinets?

Original. They were all through the basement (pre-construction pic below). We thought they were quirky, so we kept them.

In general, though, the house before was just awful. I'll have to find some other pre-construction pics. There were lots of cherubs. haha

I found pics of our house before we tore it down to the foundation.

Wood paneling everywhere. Tons of wrought iron, for some reason.

I love that kitchen, but calling it "trying for the RH/PB look" is an insult.

    Tiring of his schtick too?

Schtick? Is it insulting to say that somebody's home looks like it could grace the cover of a catalog? Are you really this dense?

We've covered this before. Yes, I am this dense. However, I know back pedaling when I see it. Whatever.

I was in a shitty mood after a shitty afternoon. I don't think you're dense. I apologize. But I do think you misunderstood what I was aiming for. As I said before, I happen to like the RH/PB look and thought Z's home could be a perfect example of "doing it right". Honestly, that place looks like it came right out of a designer catalog.

Table from Pottery Barn. I like the wood, very inviting. What would you pay for something like this? Where would you look for this type of table, other than Pottery Barn?
