Simply type in Eames or Danish. Apparently those are the words to describe everything and anything made in the Mid-Century.

I'm very fond of mid-century French furniture.

And wonderful furniture from Italy in the '40s and '50s

These have long been a favourite of mine:
Franco Campo and Carlo Graffi 1951

'Domestic Animal' sofa from 1986, now a design classic by Andrea Branzi.

Speaking of Branzi, I really love this by him:

..and this is great too, silver Tea and Coffee tower by Ben van Berkel and Caroline Bos.

Ahh, yes, I am very familiar with his work [IMG]

Mollino and Graffi worked together occasionally. Mollino was very eccentric and his projects often resulted in lawsuits -- his designs are very interesting -- it reminds me of Antoni Gaudà and has a kind of Art Nouveau look about it.

Also, I love this wonderful chair by Carlo Bugatti from his Snail Room, 1902

Hexagons seem to be everywhere right now -- they are often shown in a cellular formation which fits with the current scientific advances with biomimetics -- engineering mimicking nature. The natural world (at the most molecular level) is a big thing right now but so is 'pixelated' design -- obviously influenced by our ever-increasing reliance on the virtual world (cyberspace).
