My wife came home with this BDDW Tripod lamp:

6' tall with a 26" shade. I think it's her subtle way of telling me we need a larger house.

It's a nice lamp. Bit of sticker shock though.

The chair is one of a pair that were made about 50 years ago in Northern Ontario by natives (Algonquin?). With an axe. Among the most comfortable of my chairs and rock solid.

I'll take some shots later.

Actually behind me in that pic is a very modern chaise longue partnered with a Mouille floor lamp beside some Han Dynasty sculptures. Somehow it all works.

Very nice. I like both the chair and the lamp. They play well together. The chair is similar to to what (I think) is known as a 'chinese chair'. Nevertheless, below you can see one of Hans J. Wegners chinese chairs. I think he did five or six different kinds.
