I don't even like them. I'm just reacting to your comment.

if you add red pastic cups, it'll probably look like a beer pong table.

if you add chairs, it'll probably look like a dining table.

if you add foam swords, it'll probably look like a larping table.

Whatever sort of table it looks like, it's an ugly one.

Table looks like something Patrick Bateman would own, and use to dismember prostitutes on.

Plant recommendations; any of these will grow to 6' in a large enough pot, can survive indoors with crappy light, and are easy to buy just about anywhere:

Dracena Marginata (dragon tree)

Ficus Benjamina (weeping fig)

Chamaedorea elegans (parlor palm)

Beaucarnea recurvata (ponytail palm)

Cyathea australis (Australian tree fern) while beautiful unfortunately requires high humidity. My bathroom is a bit too small for one unfortunately :(

There are varieties of citrus, olives, bananas and dates that can be grown indoors. It can be tough to get them to fruit, though!

That was my understanding for fruit trees, they really should be put outside in the late spring and kept there until fall in order to keep them healthy.
