Very nice, Crazyquik - $25 isn't too bad a price. I like the bottom one, of New York:

Seems it's a promotional thing for Rogers Peet Co., clothiers. Apparently, they had the most rigorous product testing:

Haven't posted in this thread for very long, so I'll post a few finds.

    First, my favourite:

1930s Bauhaus-style barber's chair, missing the neck support and covered in some early type of pleather:

I like the ratcheting/tilting back, I once saw an old Bentley with the same arrangement:

Ill just remove the fitting for the neck support, and have it re-upholstered to match the sofa and barstools:

For $25 total (including shipping) I just bought a pair of those historic map posters in the 20"x33" size. Should have them hanging within a week.

I really like these pieces, the desk in particular. Who makes these pieces?

    Hello Girardian,

The desk and all the chairs (except for the last one) are made by an Austrian manufacturer called Schmidinger Möebelbau. (the website is only in German)

    http://www.schmidinger-moebelbau.at/2.php?id=2

The bowl is from a Belgian company called When Objects Work

The chair at the bottom is from the Italian maker Montina

I worry about starting a post like this, but I was in Anthropologie with my wife and saw some awesome sofas, and am wondering if the general opinions of these sofas is positive.

The first is called the Cotswold Sofa which I loved, and also the Battersea Sofette. I'm still feeling a little uncertain because they are from what I thought was a women's clothing store, but man these sofas seemed nice.

They certainly have character .....and will set the tone for a particular style of interior.

Haha, bookmarked! [IMG] I'm impressed that someone took the time to put that site together.

I am happy to report that my design collection includes several items shown in that series of images: a lamp (Louis Poulsen), chairs (Cado), and ceramic ashtray (Gabbianelli). [IMG]
