Not really a piece of furniture, it is a sculpture by Haim Steinbach

[IMG] Funny... The red sculpture reminds me of Wegners Flag Halyard Chair. [IMG] [IMG] Speaking of Wegner, while Google´ing the chair mentioned above, I stumbled over this installation: [IMG] The Hans Wegner suite of furnishings was offered by Stockholm, Sweden, dealer Jacksons Design. The "Dolphin” lounge chair, right, priced at $125,000, was one of four made.

Reminds me of the Star Wars Hoth action figure sets. The Tauntaun goes on the third shelf on the left. Luke hangs upside-down, bottom-right.

    ^he he,

I have to be honest and say that I am not sure that I would ever love that object, no matter how long I lived with it. [IMG]

    These are great though.

In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful chairs of the 20th century -- especially the high-backed version.

I don't worship at the Aalto alter, but I too have always loved that chair. The design seems way ahead of its time.

Cool, but you better have guns, a really elaborate binary liquid explosive device , or biological weaponry to put in that thing. If Hollywood has taught me anything, its that you cannot put mere CLOTHES in something like this.

^ Yes -- but still cheaper than Goyard or Vuitton.

Correct. But at least something had to die for Goyard and Vuitton!
